jib furler issue

do you see anything wrong here?
it is getting stuck up top and i cannot unfurl it.
it does about 3-4 wraps, then stops.

Whats the bottom look like? If you have room at the bottom try a 6" Painter at the top.
Your shackle looks like it's bunching up.

Also while you have it down, check the your bearing in it are well lubed.... Have the same problem, 3 or 4 wraps and it jams. I am waiting for the PB blaster to soak in and release the bearings before removing to try to repack or replace the bearings.

Drop it lower, and then if it needs it PUT A HALYARD RESTRAINT ON IT, or ... kiss your forestay goodbye -- repeatedly -- until you do install that halyard restraint.
