It's Offical

The wife, dog and I will be throwing off the lines this May to go cruising for 12-15 months.

Re: It's Offical

I should have given a little more info. We have a loose plan to sail first to the Canadian Maritimes for the summer. After that we may head to the Chesapeake for the fall and then maybe the Bahamas for the winter. We have spent a decent amount of time in the Caribbean both on shore and chartering. We have no desire at this point to return.

Hi neighbor! If you haven't cruised the area from Port Clyde to Roque Island, it's a pretty amazing cruising grounds. Someone could spend a lifetime sailing just between Rockland and Mount Desert and never wear out all the great anchorage possibilities. But you probably already know all about that.

Agreed. We have been cruising the Maine coast for 10 years and usually spend about 2 weeks a year in that area.
