Yeah, I'm in Brunswick Georgia. It's deja vu, because Colin did pretty much the same thing. Good call not going north! Hermine could still become a hurricane. It's creeping along at 2 MPH to the North last I saw. Plenty of time to build yet. It's been an interesting thread. Stay safe. We still have September and October to survive.

Re: Invest 99L-Florida boaters thoughts.

The models are all fairly consistent at this point with landfall ranging from Panama City to about Stienhatchie in the bend.

Now the paths are mostly remaining inland up the east coast instead of crossing Florida back into open water. A general shift westward overall for the path.

Now named Hermine.

Below is a new type of graphic that I have not seen in the past, from Levi (tropicaltidbits). Instead of path, it is about the possibities for intensity of the model's predictions. I find it useful as it shows how many models indicate a given intensity and when in hours.

Then by comparing a predicted model'sintensity to its track on the other graph can be informative.

Re: Invest 99L-Florida boaters thoughts.

I'm in Ponce Inlet and will be taking the Bimini down today and adding second lines. Why take a chance? If I were in the direct path, I would also be taking down my head sail. The last time we had a tropical storm which went off shore, the wind gusts were still enough to blow my Bimini frame apart.
