I stumbled upon this video, certainly a what the heck moment if you came upon this same boat? Who is that guy in the life Raft? Looter, guard, owner, friend?

My hunch.... looter, but who knows?

Looks like looter, not the owner.

Yeah, looks to me like a looter who attempted to steal the life raft. It probably surprised him when the white suitcase deployed.

Does not look like a looter to me at all. Does not behave nor talk like one. Probably someone who was at the point of investigating how to get the boat out of this situation.

Looters will come at night, in a powered dinghy.

And you do not deploy a raft you want to steal, do you?

What is odd is the dinghy flies a Canadian flag (a dinghy with a flag ??? WTF?????) and the guy in the water seems to have French accent .... yet they talk to him in English?
