Ok, so there's another one off Conception Island. NNeither of them is inhabited. Tom B. said it was an Island of 300. I suspect there must be another one.

Re: ICW "Pirates". Have you Seen?

I have found 3. One is the next island East of Rose Island near Nassau, one is at the east end of Mayaguana, and one just off Conception. My guess is its the one near Nassau if there are 300 inhabitants...

I looked at that one on Google Earth and there are no buildings or other signs of habitation. There must be another one.

The photo was taken from a US Coast Guard helicopter – the Coast Guard patrols the Bahamas as part of a cooperation agreement with the Bahamas to fight drug trafficking.
Bingo!

Any idea which island they refer to? Certainly have seen more Bahamian official boats about this year...

That was terribly offensive wasn't it ????

I think we should share search results so we NEVER have to that again....

Now that they've been found what do you think the over under is on the OP getting his money back? Especially now that they are out of country.

Looks like I might have better potential than I thought as a French deadbeat on the lam in a sailboat after all....

I doubt that this will help the guy they ripped off recover any of his money, certainly can't hurt, but it seems nice to see that karma is alive and well in the Bahamas.

If they're aground on just sand, then it may not be too tough for them to get back underway once they sort out the (il)legalities with Bahamian officialdom, but if they managed to find a coral head down there.....

Re: ICW "Pirates". Have you Seen?

Especially since it would seem that once that hunk of junk is refloated it'll most likely be impounded by the Bahamian authorities. Though in the long run, this may be more satisfying for OP. I mean, how often do you get a front row seat to watch karma b!%#+ slap someone like that?
