Re: ICW Group Cruising

I know it is miserable if two boats go different speeds. One boat seems hurried and one boat seems delayed. More shifting into neutral is always needed in the faster boat. I tried this several times going down a fresh water inland lake. Never was much fun.

Re: ICW Group Cruising

I checked on Bings Landing today. I still do not have a yes/no answer to overnight anchorage. I can add that the rules I read all pertain to land based activitiy. No fires, no overnight parking, dogs on a leash etc.

I did see one sailboat with dingy anchored about 50 yards past Bings Landing on the ICW.

I was hoping to see a ranger there for lunch at Captain's BBQ but do not see one...oh well. I will continue to try to find a definitive answer.

BTW - very good food there.
