Ice bergs off the starboard

An interesting little article by our water and atmospheric research org. www.niwa.cri.nz/pubs/mr/archive/2005-01-06-1
Not a good time if you are sailing a vessel in the Vendeeglobe and it is called Titanic.

Icebergs

All the Vendee boats are now at, very near, or past Cape Horn but one of the boats did hit an iceberg and brake the pow sprit. The broken bow sprit boat was repaired on the South Island, he also had other problems. Michael
