I W C kills off Japan's whaling plans

For those interested in sailing the seas and seeing these majestic creatures, there's been a win last week with the IWC denying Japan's latest application to take 4000 whales for their so called scientific purposes.

It is good news. And apparently I've just heard on the car radio this morning the japaneese are appealing the IWC decision. So I guess it's not over yet.
