I’m a new boat owner 09 Hunter 33

Just bought a hunter 33’, taking possession on the 22nd And I am a whole lot nervous! This Friday she is getting surveyed and sea trials! What do I look for in a sea trial? What is a sea trial?

Re: I’m a new boat owner 09 Hunter 33

Just for fun, I'll go first.

Yikes. Do not assume you will take possession of the boat or anything else until the survey and sea trials are done. There are about a thousand things that can kill a boat deal.

Without comment on Hunters, any really old grp boats can cost 4X in repairs. If you are serious, I recommend you take some old salt with you.

A suggestion is to start reading Don Casey's books. Also please tell us more about the boat and do you have someone to assist during this event? Last suggestion, Read the book Fast!

Regards and welcome to the forum.
Some excellent info here. (Very little from me, lol)
