Hi......not sure where to post this...

I'm on holiday in the Philippines and EVERY time I attempt to log on to this site I get......

"I am not a robot"....then a box to check and a question with pictures....

How many pictures have mountains, flowers etc.

Is it because of my location or is there some other issue going on?

No idea, but I sometimes get this when I try to log onto my webmail account from different locations.

Have you considered the possibility you are in fact a robot. You do not realise you are robot. All your thoughts and memories are in reality just a program to simulate your human existence.

Basically, "bad behaviour" IP's are more commonly from some countries then others, and IP's from those countries now have extra security in place to make sure there's a real, well meaning person wanting access.

I think that there are so many fraud scams coming out of that area on the net most sites want proof of source before connecting to the server. Just a guess, not a fact.

When you go to any site on the net, a bunch of information is captured, including IP address, browser, and who knows what else.

As others have said, there is all kinds of nastiness out there in the internet wild, most of which most people are unaware.

There are also companies that track this nastiness and will block access or require verification of humans before allowing access to a site.

I run the website for my YC, a small low traffic site. Everyday I get notified by my security software of some sort of attack and often it is multiple times per day.

As annoying as the login might be, it is really for protection of the site and ultimately you and your computer data.

I get these derned things, along with the Captcha that has letters no one, including an AI machine can read. It's the curse of the spammers, bots and whatever out there.
