Re: How Old's Your Ride?

Mine's another good old boat, a Chance 30-30 built by Allied in 1970, which I've owned since 1992... She works fine for me...

I'm getting too old to quickly do the math...

:-)

Old boats are like grandad's axe. Eventually everything old is new again while the price keeps heading south.

"On Ice" would be more like it. I'm dying to get her under sail, but I've got a long row to hoe before I get there...

Re: How Old's Your Ride?

second boat for me. had a new C&C 25 35 years ago. then marriage, houses, kids, university, etc. had to say good bye! last year finally got back into a boat, 1980, so she's 35, looks half her age, sails like a new one. and i feel like a kid again.
