Re: House Sold, Now What!!

How often do you plan on driving these cars? If you'r casting off the lines and sailing south, why do you need a car?

It has also been my experience that giving cars to relatives rarely ends well. The first breakdown the phone calls will start, and you're an idiot for giving them a piece of junk. Sell them for what you can, and walk away.

My cars are not on there last legs their cars are. I want to give them my cars because when I come to town I usually rent because their cars are not trust worthy. Also, my cars were manufactured in this century.
Thanks

My feelings also. I refuse to help my sister with her computer or electronics as she tends to blame me from then on with her issues.

Re: House Sold, Now What!!

FWIW: We just took the path of selling / giving away (e.g., local charity) our cars. Between needing to find a place to store them, perhaps at a cost. Ongoing maintenance / restoration (Will always be SOME), insurance/liability, plus the 'wear' things take when not being used. Just not worth it. We simple rent a car when needed and will deal with the world when we return to it :-) Going on 6 years this way now and no regrets.
