Pretty hard to beat the price! Why are we running wires for house lights anymore?

I am loving my Aeropress Coffee maker. A great taste in a small light package. Its probably saved its cost in not paying cafe prices. Perfect for small boats. Click image for larger version

Re: Handy stuff for pocket cruisers, et al.

BTW, in case anyone missed it, there are a couple of social groups here for those of us with the smaller boats...
Cruisers & Sailing Forums - The Small Boat Cruiser

Cruisers & Sailing Forums - 30 foot and under, cruisers.

The more that join, the better they are (potentially!)

As for Coffee, to be really minimalist there is absolutfels on need for a French press or similar.

Just do ot as the pros la over the World. Coffee gratins in the cup (7 grams double that for a breakfast mug and then very hot water (92-96 C) stir with a spion then let it sit 3-5 minutes and voilà, that's as good as it gets.

IF you have floder post onboard the used gratins are superb as fertilitet....

+1 That exact combo got me through 6 months of roadtripping in small vehicles, and is still used aboard Meander.

I don't have one of these (yet) but it looked pretty cool, along with all the other collapsible ware...

Re: Handy stuff for pocket cruisers, et al.

So I have one of those baseball caps with LEDs under the brim and I really like it... a little handier than putting on a headlamp for most things, and I saw these too, one with a solar panel brim and the other a beanie. Haven't tied them yet but I see another possible purchase pretty soon! I am looking forward to the giant broad-brimmed hat made of flexible solar panels!

To avoid daily replacement of batteries.
