What ads do you guys get?
I always have the exact same ones, and they're still there now ...

(Right panel: wiki, Spade, GMN, some prop, Vesper & Mantus. Never changes.)

Does Normandy mean anything to you? Stalingrad?

So the idea that a private gunboat might be either legitimate or on our side just does not compute. It's a gunboat, it's not flying my flat therefore it is an invasion. My only surprise is that they did not get blown out of the water.
It's another symptom of the American Government's policy of privatising war.

Yes for some reason the siege of Stalingrad gets all the publicity, but the 900 day siege of Leningrad was something else entirely.

The book "The 900 Days: The Siege Of Leningrad" by Harrison E. Salisbury, is an amazing read.

What most Americans don't seem to realise, is for Hitler, America was always a prime target.

He had the aircraft built ready, and the ICBM's being developed, to nuke America off the face of the Earth.

WW2 was a very close run thing.

Are you serious? You don't think we started fighting in Europe until June 6, 1944? Ok, I am finished with this line of discussion, it's going to prove to be fruitless, and I have better things to do than continue along with no hope of any agreement whatsoever.

This is the case in plenty of countries, and the law applies whether you agree with it or not.
That is the rule not the exception in Europe. If you use a gun and kill an unharmed robber you will face serious jail time.

It was in stalingrad that the nazis got their first serious beating. That's what broke their spirit.

Enlighten us. When were there "boots on the ground" before 1944?
