GRIB File Readers

I've been using GribUS which I like but it has its limitations. I also look up "PassageWeather" which is pretty good too. However, I came across another grib reader which has a lot more good stuff on it, called "ViewFax" I downloaded it and asked it for some data:

Now comes the question - and I suspect its for computer rather than weather "experts":

Most times I try to get data, a message comes up "Cannot Allocate Socket".

What does this mean? Why does it not happen every time? Is there anything I could/should be doing to prevent it happening?

Many thanks, Tony
