Going up the East coast and avoiding Hurricaines

East Coast hurricanes are predicted well in advance. Now the 5 or 10 day track forecasts?

There is no such thing as a hurricane proof marinas. I would rather be on a big hook or way up a creek snubbed off to trees. Both are probably local knowledge.
