Re: Getting Rid of a Perkins 4-108?

How interchangeable are parts between a 4-107 and 4-108?

The main difference is the head. The head on the floor 107 has a smaller head bolt than the 4108 all other parts should be interchangeable. Also the 4107 cylinders are wet sleeved where the 4108 are not so the the internals of the block is much different.

The parts I have are two raw water pumps one fresh water pump with pulley. Also have the water tank">fresh water tank, exhaust manifold available but not with me right now and the alternator for the 4107.

I need to get rid of the stuff I'm tired of carrying around.

Re: Getting Rid of a Perkins 4-108?

Okay I need to clarify that I have 2 fresh water pumps one with pulley one without,1 injector and one fresh water pump that was a spare and never used and probably good to go. I also have an injector blank for checking compression.
I tried adding a picture but it must have been too big a file.
