Georgia sailors: is sales tax due on private boat sales w/ brokers?
The tax code as I read it says yes - but experienced people are saying otherwise. What was your experience?

I purchased a boat through a broker and paid no tax. My friend has brokered boats in Savannah for years and has never had a transaction taxed on a used boat.
