Garmin Autopilot?

Anyone have any experience with a Garmin autopilot? Thinking of looking at one for a 38 foot sloop.

I have the ghp 12. Been very good so far, but I I've only done a couple thousand miles if coastal runs with it. No complaints tho- easy to set up and run, and seems good.

Should note I've paired it with an L&S cylinder and pump set. Very solid (and pricey) gear that is. But it's worth it in my opinion.

Thank you very much for you input. But I'm a tad confused (the story of my life?). I believe that the GHP 12 is a linear drive. Garmin suggested that I use that drive with a Reactor 40 Corepack with a GCH 20. How do you use it with the L&S cylinder and pump set? Also, can you let me know what you are experiencing in terms of amp consumption?
