Fuel Filters and Fuel Issues

I have posted a major study of fuel filters and issues at my web site page, it includes pictures, background, technical descriptions, bill of materials, links to various web sites with what I consider to be good information, links to PDF files with technical descriptions, parts numbers, cross reference lists of filters that can be used for substitutions(truck type), and much more.

It is not intended as an installation guide to building fuel systems and choosing filters, but rather what to make of what you have and how to evaluate it's condition and how to keep it running come hell or high water.

It is oriented around Racor spin-on and turbine filters which are found on about 90% of the boats in common use in the U.S.

It includes emergency, not recommended solutions, that you might consider using if you have no alternative. The web page is accessible from the internet, which means that you may be able to read the pages while in the field or at sea.
