FREE, or close to free!

71 Columbia mark ii, $2000, 26’

Looks pretty clean, used not abused, a popular boat at an affordable price. Furler, 4 stroke outboard, nice touches.

If you are in or near South Florida the Sea Tow in Ft Lauderdale has been posting free sail boats on social media.

Could you link to that page? I'm having trouble finding any free boats by sea tow.

This one drew me in with a cheap price, but I think it’s actually more. $79 just be careful with the ceiling fan.

This CL post is missing one letter... "K". I think it's a typo. As in $79k.

Yes confirmed, some non-US person entered a period rather than a comma before the zero's.

$79,000 is the ask

It may not be close to free but looks like a pretty amazing boat.

I like the trailerability for such a large boat. Probably not much performance wise, but as a floating RV it has some potential. You just don’t see a lot of shallow draft, flip up rudder, outboard powered (looks like) trailerable ramp launchable sailboats of this size. Could be somebody’s baby.

They look a little better cleaned up and ready to sail... Not much, but a little.

And I'd absolutely be proud to own one if it was in good shape.

Again I see a fun boat for a teenager who wants to go exploring and gunkholing and fishing with his friends, with a little help from dad. It's a 26' by the way. Good for inland waters but personally I wouldn't care to take it out in too much of an open sea... those kinds of boats have a motion that makes me queasy... but that's just me...
here's on for example: http://www.sailingtexas.com/schrysler26f.html

26’ makes a lot more sense. Thanks.
