My friend is on the east side of the chesapeake across from Baltimore. His boat is docked behind his house, waves breaking over the transom, heeling over more than 20 degrees in the gusts.

I wish the best for all in her path!

Re: Frankenstorm!

when all of new england and penna and nj and upstate ny are all tallied--will be a lot more than 200 billion, and it will take a bit of time to finish the assessment, as much of the area is difficult to access in good weather.....

Maka Le'a couldn't get out so she' in the marina riding it out. Now, I know she can take it but the marina, not so much. The docks are almost to the top of the pilings. Won't take much for them

to float away w Maka Le'a still attached to them. This watching and waiting is so stressful.

Re: Frankenstorm!

Similar situation only I delaware city. I think we are ok with only a couple of feet of surge.

Since everyone is so happy with them at the moment ill admit I was a radioman on USCG C130 back in early 70's. BTW, some of those same planes are still flying, or were a few years ago.
