Re: Found my vice grips!!!

Lost a set of car keys on board once. As you can imagine, we looked everywhere for them. We knew they were on board and unless the hull had opened up, dropped into the briny and then closed up again, they must have been still on board.

Fast forward two or three years later and on the day we sold the boat and moved off, the keys were found under a bunk cushion. I know we had looked under that bunk many times….

Lost my engagement ring once for a whole year. Making the bed one day and switching to winter colors it fell it of the pillow sham...

Re: Found my vice grips!!!

I found a Swiss Army knife in a little used pocket in a backpack. I was hiking in the jungle in Northern Thailand and supporting my pack behind me with my hands I felt it there. It had been through several airport security X-RAYs as carry on. I gave it as a present to the Karen tribe man whose house we stayed in with his 4 wives.

Re: Found my vice grips!!!

I know the thing that's missing is always what I need and I never find it until I stop looking and don't need it anymore. What's with that?
