Re: Forwarding Address Azores

Hooligan,
For many years now, MAYS (Mid Atlantic Yacht Services) has been a great resource for the voyaging yachtsman, and can usually be used as a shipping/mailing location, for parts/materials sent to your vessel...

But, be sure to contact them directly to inquire and inform them of what/when you are having shipped...

FYI, they are great folks!!!
in 2007, Duncan Sweet, the owner, came to the marina himself, found my boat, just to deliver a fax to me (that I did NOT know was coming!)....we talked and had a cold drink, but he had work to do, so he couldn't stay long....although I didn't actually need any supplies/repairs, I was so impressed, I stopped by his shop to buy something, and ended up buying some nice heavy-duty duct tape....

Give Duncan a shout (e-mail or phone) before you have parts shipped-in, as I have heard that recently (due to severe economic issues) that Portugal has been getting fairly rigid in their enforcements of importation rules/regs...

Here is the contact info (courtesy of noonsite)
