First trip

Eventually got the boat moved down the Rappahanock to Deltaville. Lots of work to do and the trip was not exactly as I planned, but glad to be on the way.
We'll be back aboard in a couple of weeks or so to get started on the labouring and I'm looking forward to it.
Spent arrival night on the outside jetty at Deltaville as that big storm hit. It was a bit of a ride.
All is well and I am happy

Re: First trip

The Centaur is a fine boat. Was my first choice when I started looking for my boat, but couldn't find the one for me. Oh, I graduated from WVU and my hometown is only 30 miles from the university. Enjoy.

Re: First trip

greetings and glad you made the jump -- if you are in deltaville boat yard you can not get any better help -- they did an incredible job helping me get SoulMates ready to go a couple of years ago -
please tell matt, tom, chrissy, and john hi for us - they are great craftsmen and really nice folks

Re: First trip

Aye Ken I'm really happy with the boat she just needs a ton of work on her now to get her fit. Fiancee is a mature student at WVU and doing well.
Seems a great place for us Chuck. The folk were all friendly and helpful. not a lot of amenities on site but we're there for work just now rather than leisure and it isn't far to plenty of shops in town.
