Excuses?

Is there an online resource that will allow you to enter your current "environment" information (at the office, home, are you sick, etc), as well as things that are on your honey-do list, and then click a button and...

BAM, an awesome excuse to go to your boat on a week night is displayed on your monitor. One that your wife could not possibly argue with?

Or should I be speaking to an attorney?

Simple,

Marry a fisrt mate who wants to go to the boat as much as you do.

Or make the experience so enjoyable that she starts to.

My wife would go down to the boat during the week, while I was trapped at work, to refinish the cabin woodwork, but on good sailing days her sailing buddy (a 74 year-old, retired lady) would "accidently" show up and when I checked the marina web cam the boat would be missing from the slip. The woodwork looks great so I could not complain.

That's awesome! More power to them.

Need to have a supportive first mate.
My father had the same problem, he finally stopped struggling to have her share his hobby, and gave up on his dream, when all there was left, was to put up the sail and go.
He never sailed the Formosa 41, and gave it practically away for 20,000$ just so my mother would not have to hear anymore about his boat. The boat was in amazing condition. Unfortunately i have never forgiven him, he should never have given up his dream. And he should have never given up on my mother, i think she may have come around.
As a Wife, try to make sailing a romantic experience for you two. Get in touch and talk about sentimental things, women like that! Before you know it your wife will be begging you to take her sailing!! And will want to forget about the Honey Please do List, cause she is having too much fun!!

And she does support the effort a great deal. She's as excited about learning to sail as I am.

Good answers though
