Enjoying It All

The last boat to arrive at the finish of the Sydney to Hobart race this year was a beautiful old thing. See below. Really wonderfully restored. Slow as a wet week, but the skipper and his dad (Sean Langman) and crew had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the experience. Langman has done a few Hobarts on big fast boats (eg Xena and this years winner Loyal) so he knows how to go quick. And he also knows how to go slow.

Soon he is going to try for a real quick run, He has a big tri - Team Vodaphone, (see also below) and is heading back to Sydney to pick the tri up and wait for a chance to a record run over the Sydney to Hobart course.

Its great to see a guy who can enjoy all the facets of our sport/lifestyle.
