Safety instructions for the combustion air system!
• The position of the combustion air must not allow
exhaust fumes or flammable vapour to be drawn in.
• If a combustion air hull fitting is used ensure water
ingress is not possible at any time.
• The combustion air inlet must not be restricted or
blocked at any time.
• The combustion air must not be drawn from any of
the accommodation areas.
• The combustion air inlet must be drawn from a neutral
pressure area.

Heater air intake
– The heater air supply must consist of fresh air or circulated air and be sucked in from a clean area not contaminated by exhaust fumes of the drive machine, the combustion heater or any other source in the vehicle.

Note " circulated "

Hundreds and hundreds of boat installs take the air for the heating ( note heating) inside the hull enclosure

Drawing the combustion air from the engine compartment and the heating air from the cabin would help with moisture in both areas.
For my boat, that's a good thing.

Dickinson make 2 propane heaters that use outside air for combustion and completely separate inside and outside air.
Should meet EU requirements.

and 3 times more than a Cozy Cabin...
and.. to be honest.. its an old EU boat and lets face it.. most officials are baffled by ********.. its to close to the environment they exist in..

Even if it´s not the first thing one might think when it´s cold

The systems metioned not only use diesel or gas
It also needs electricity to run them
They heat up the cabin very fast but to run them for extended time make shure Ur batteries can cope with that and also where U get the energy from to charge the batteries. The pumps and blowers need some juice....check the specs
If electricity is not an issue U might also wan to evaluate some heater mats on the flor or under the cushions.They also come in 12 V... easy clean installation and none of the other problems
