If it's an FFM for snorkeling, it's a horrible idea, from fogging your lens to having more than just a little difficulty clearing a mask of water they have popped up every few yaers and it's a fix for something that's not broken.
An FFM is a full face mask, you see them for specialized applications, like underwater communications for commercial divers and some re-breathers will use them in the hope that if they tox and seize, they may survive with an FFM, but snorkeling? no

Actually, many people have sinus issues with regular masks even while snorkeling, so in that respect, it's a fix to a real problem.

Still, I think it's silly for snorkeling. I do like our FFMs for diving though.

actually they have fixed the fogging issue that was one of the first issues they had. If any one finds a way to get one in the us let us know. I emailed the company but no responce yet.

Sorry but I don't understand. In my diving experience sinus issues relate to the nasal passages so breathing through your nose or equalizing pressure in your ears through the Eustachian tube.

So how would a sinus problem effect breathing through your mouth with a regular snorkel? Regardless, I would think that a problem breathing through the mouth would be a serious contraindication for any kind of diving.

It would be hopeless for freediving where the best designed masks have minimal air volume.

Physics of diving get involved.

Probably OK for snorkeling on the surface but once you leave the surface the large air volume would start to decrease pushing the mask on to your face and your eyeballs attempt to fill the space.

You cannot breath underwater with any snorkel, you hold your breath, exhale when back on the surface to breathe. Note the video only snows snorkeling on the surface which could be OK if you don't need to descend.

Would not be fun at 10 meters down with that large air volume where the original volume would have halved. Full face masks for scuba are OK because of unlimited air to equalise the pressure.

At best a snorkeling gimmick for surface swimming. Forget it if you want to freedive.

It would not.

Normal snorkling involves breathing through your mouth. To descend underwater to any depth you need to equalise your sinuses, eardrums via the eustachian tubes otherwise suffer barotrauma.

The type of mask will not affect that. You can still stay snorkeling on the surface however.

Agree the large volume of this mask would probably cause issues if you are diving deeper than a foot or so. Also have to wonder how easy it would be to clear the snorkel if it got water in it.

On the other hand a FFM is a great idea for SCUBA and many commercial hooka divers like them. Breathing through your nose instead of your mouth prevents dry mouth very common when breathing compressed air.

I suspect that it will be most appreciated by people who have never snorkelled or those who find that difficult.

I have never dived with a FFM but can appreciate that it would be great, as for FFM snorkelling I could see myself hating it with a passion. When I take a break from the snorkelling I will spit out the snorkel but keep on the mask, but with this there is no option but to stay breathing through the tube or remove the mask.

It could be perfect to have one on board for certain guests
