East Coast 4G internet

Hello,

Planning my first passage from NC to FL. I work from the internet and being connected 95% of the time is critical. I have verizon and always have coverage when we anchor out in NC and while sailing around nearby. I have read and heard from others that being within 5 NM of the coast and you usually have coverage. I also have a 4G signal booster and it works well. Can anyone attest to coverage down the coast? we are going to hug the coastline and Verizon shows coverage the entire way, so from what I have read we should be good, but I would feel better hearing from someone who has first hand experience. I have a long range wifi setup too, but I cant really count on that while moving constantly.

If you are happy with the Verizon NC coverage, you will be happy all the way to Florida.

We have Verizon and travel the between Florida and Maryland. We never lost service. at times we didn't have 4G though.

Re: East Coast 4G internet

The only place where we lost coverage on our Verizon hotspot was in southern North Carolina. Didn’t have cell phone service either. There are a lot of places that still don’t have 4G coverage. Check the Verizon 4G map on their website.
