Re: Do You Wear Pants?

We sail naked when it is warm which is quite often in S. Florida, but when the weather changes we will dress accordingly. We sail naked because it is comfortable and fun and saves on laundry.

Re: Do You Wear Pants?

I just wear as little as I can get away with, or as much as I need depending on the weather conditions and social structure. As I live in a cool, often cold area, pants are the norm, but sometimes shorts if warm enough.

Re: Do You Wear Pants?

Summertime and very hot here. I wear cargo shorts untill away from marina/dock and then nothing or maybe a pareo depending on who is on the boat or who is in the anchorage. Oh yeah, a big hat to protect the solar panel on the head, shade is a must down here.

Re: Do You Wear Pants?

It depends on the weather, but if I’m not wearing board shorts and a T-shirt, then I’m on my way to a place where I can.

I agree.

I wear cargo shorts and would like to find some that are still cotton (nylon etc makes me sweat too much) but thin, without all the extra stitching and folds that I normall find.

Want cheap too!

Asking too much I am sure.

Re: Do You Wear Pants?

My daughter lives in zip off cargos... mostly from REI that are made from pretty light weight stuff.

the spouse uses his (same pants) for his crazy-ass 2 week hikes thru the sierras in the summer time.

Search for 'sahara'. When they go in sale they are around 30 bucks.

For Zee, can't help ya girlfriend, if the new gen high tech synthetics that do a better job of breathing and wicking than cotton bother your skin.
