Get with the times monkeyman. Boxer briefs are much more comfortable than the old tighty-whiteys.

On the boat and about town below 20 north, just a swim suit with pockets and inner webbing and a T-shirt from a saloon or long sleeve light weight UV shirt that dries fast (with yet more velcro pockets), and flip flops with an arch.

Any further north on the west coast, layered up with cashmere turtle neck as cold weather base.

Commando?

Around here with the pathetic summer we've had (60 degrees today) it's jeans, tee shirt with at least a sweatshirt, and sometimes a windbreaker as well.

Going anywhere on the boat includes a fair amount of apparent wind with a multi, so we're used to funny looks from people when we get near land.

Re: Do You Wear Pants?

As a former significant other once told me, "If your not wearing pants, I won't wear panties".

Bonus!!! She got no argument from me

Re: Do You Wear Pants?

SaltyMonkey back from dance class and is excited to hear about new fashion possibilities from you all, now that we are in the summer months. Just can't get into the short thing. I suppose slipping into a warm up suit would make me look like a Russian mafia monkey.

Re: Do you wear pants?

Silly question but I'm new. Could you tell me how I can post ? Not post reply, that seems easy, but start my own thread ? Can't seem to see that. Perhaps because I'm new ? Any help on this. Sorry, I saw you were a "moderator"

Re: Do You Wear Pants?

On the boat above 65-70F, usually wear cargo shorts and A-shirt, no shoes. Temp drops long cargo pants and long sleeve shirt. Prefer the cotton material that cargo pants use, wind doesn't blow thru them like blue jeans.

Official business, customs, immigration, etc. will wear my khakis and our uniform shirt from my old job. The shirts have our names embroidered on the, wife embroidered boat name on the shirts.

In town, it depends on local dress codes and day of the week... Always respect the country and culture..

Naked when offshore and weather permits. Dirty laundry onboard not nice.

My opposite number believes dark lines that may be left after sitting down are worse.
