Diet definitely makes a difference. Arguing that we are the most healthy people in the world and we should thus stop worrying about it is kind of silly. We are so healthy because we have spent so much time working on our health!

So why stop now? If people one hundred years ago had decided to stop worrying about being healthy, we wouldn't have a lot of things that improve our health!

Thanks Margo.

Very interesting and it's nice to see someone recovering from this sort of thing.

That's more information than I either wanted or needed.

Huh, new in the forum and it seems to be so popular. Always so many replies in every message that I can't be bothered to read them all.

Just wanted to say that there is two things that causes most of the dangers and they are your diet and smoking. If you eat healthy and not smoke then you are doing already pretty well. If you compare somebody who has lived in his/her boat for years to a one living in a big city then the sailing people are doing definitely really well.

No problems just keep on sailing and just have a pipe full of every now and then!

What it comes to the prostate cancer messages it is all true. Research shows that men who ejaculate 5 times or more a week are much less like to have a prostate cancer than the men who don't.

I think everything in a high enough concentration can cause a 50% chance of occurrence of cancer. Thats why moderation (and not total abstinence) makes perfect sense. This way you still get to enjoy the good stuff which is always seems to be bad for you in some way.

Don't you know?

People fish from boats.

Many use bait for that.

Most are masterbaiters.
