DIY Parachute Anchors

Been reading a post on what I call "bulky bags" (BB) large bags approx 1.2x1.2m made for lifting.
Claimed to be used as a para anchor succesfuly.

My thought is to make a Series anchor much like the series drogue.
Cut a 150-250mm hole in the bottom (sew in webbing around edge to reinforce)
Join approx 5m length of rope, repeat for each additional one needed

My 42' cat would require 3 possibly 4 to match the 18' (recamended size P.A.)
I might be tempted to increase the 5m lenght to 10m this would give better
Spaceing & reduce the chance of more than 1 bag collapsing At a time.
With trip line led to a float

I have no experience with p.a. But have many sky dives & learnt with round
C9-t10 so believe I have a good understanding.

Cheap available repairable effective

Comments please

Re: DIY parachute anchors

I'm doing a set of Jordan Drogues through Sailrite. May be more expensive,(500USD) but a tried and true pattern is important when I am out in the storm.
