The solar panels have not yet been installed but are expected to arrive from Reno, Nevada “any day” and will be in working order “soon,” says Austin.

When the solar panels are installed the Gore boat could power itself and “most of the dock” according to Austin.

Like I said Getin there, I really dont want to hear your stance on ANYTHING political, let alone your disinformation. This is a cruisers forum...

That was HILARIOUS. Enjoy the cool-aid.

Two stools of thought......

Enviromental issues are political.

I've heard that next year the USCG will introduce a Poop Inspection.

Not only going to have to continue to save all your Poop onboard, but you will have to weigh it by hand (on USCG certified scales) in front of a CG Officer. (to both ensure no cheating and to assess a tax, by weight - it's only fair, user pays etc etc ).

Think of all the baby sardines you are saving. In Australia. When wrestling with a corn eyed trout, from last Tuesday

If part of the answer to the problems of the world is some folk storing their "lunch" in a Tupperware box then we are truly fooked anyway.

Well, thats a new one on me... and if it WAS true, I'd have to agree about the fooked part...

And of course Austin (having been buttering his bread from the $$ generated by Algore) must ABSOLUTELY be telling the exact truth, while anyone skeptical is offering nothing but disinformation???

That's the typical response from someone who slavishly follows the party of "diversity and diverse opinions"

pathetic.

Hey, you never know, he might have built it from recycled walmart bags.

I'll bet Algore has a huge holding tank because he sure is full of crap.

I take it (perhaps wrongly) that you blindly follow the party who has raped, bankrupted and taken our country to the brink of destruction over the last eight years. Great job. Ya lost, your time is over for now and thems the breaks. As for the cut and paste article, it came from a right wing 'net rag about Al Gores "yacht". Its not my opinion, I didnt write it, and I have no idea how accurate it is. Either do you. None of this has anything to do with the original posting. I promise not to flush my head directly into the harbor while I am anchored next to ya. Simple as that. Trolling and named calling are banned on this forum. Next time I hit the "report" button.

Please keep in mind that this is not a political forum. This thread is straying way too far from the original topic.

Also we take "be nice" seriously. We will not tolerate name calling and rudeness.

I couldn't agree more, Frank. One should never bring up politics OR RELIGION on a cruising forum. These are very sensitive topics and people can get pissed easily.
