The deals on your dream boat are coming...
As an avid "dreamer" about 2-4 years away from casting off, I can't help keep abreast of the deals that seem to be coming our way on Yachtworld.
2000 Beneteau 505 for $149k with generator and air? I suspect that this has been upgraded since leaving charter and the new owner defaulted on his loan. 1990 Catalina Morgan 50 for $114k with a new yanmar? (cosmetically a little rough around the edges). 2001 Leopard 47 for $289k that has been upgraded for 1.5years after leaving charter? This, in my opinion, presents one of the best values that you can find. The charter 47's are being listed at around 300k. But, invetably, there will be work to do to get them up to speed. But, if you can find one that has had a year of this work being done, what could be better? Same with the Beneteau. I suspect that the market will have trouble keeping up with the volume of boats coming out of charter. |
