David Sweet Boatbuilder, AKA Northeast Harbor Boat Co

Anyone familiar with David Sweet (boat builder) from Northeast Harbor ME?

Looking for info on his 70's monohulls. Long story short... Got a small sloop (25-27 foot on deck) that HIN identifies as built by above compay. She was a jewel in her day, but sad to say is ready for the breaker yard. Primary interest is keel material. Fair amount of salvageable, recyclable gear, but not worth the cost of breaking unless keel is lead. Have possible phone for David, but thought I would post the question for you "down easters" out there. Company ceased production in 1990 from what I can tell.
HIN# HCW 60005 0271
