Danavigate 3200

I have a 1987 C and C with a Danavigate 3200 speed/depth metre. The knotmeter works intermittently, especially if I forget to turn off the master instrumentation switch before I start the motor. Does anyone know a solution or does anyone know a replacement speed/knotmeter that would be compatible with the existing wiring (I do not think the manufacturer is still in business)

Re: Danavigate 3200

With the possible chance that the transducer might work, thats about the best you can hope for ! Todays stuff is way different then even stuff from 5 yrs ago! But except for haveing to install a new transducer in or on the hull, the rest of the installation is pretty stright forward and simple even for first timers. just measure things carefuly, and use good wire connectors. I just did a installation on my own boat, to replace an older unworking meter. posed no problems, but I was able to use my transducer. Have fun
