Bottom line are you a US citizen or non (this is an international forum so no one knows unless you tell us)? If a US citizen you are not supposed to go. Call it illegal or not allowed or restricted. There's lots of arguments about the exact terminology but still comes down to the gubbamint don't like it and might slap you on the back of the head if you do.
