Craft Projects on Boat

The wife and I are looking to set sail in 2010 doing the ditch she is looking to talk and find out about craft thing people do while sailing

Jewelry is very popular, especially if you use shells or beach glass. Many cruisers sell it. Painting is another popular thing, watercolours mostly.

varnishing teak, painting non-skid, molding shaping & sanding fiberglass, sewing canvas, sewing sails, etc. Plenty of crafts to keep her busy aboard.

The above usually keeps me quite busy. Perhaps you could get her a copy of "This Old Boat" for a present....

Photography is another good one.

it seems like almost every woman out here is into bead and shell jewelry. it's a popular gift. margie has several pieces given to her by other cruising ladies.
