Cost for re-bedding a keel in UK

For anyone that read my other thread, I was looking at a Kingfisher 26, the deal fell through. Mostly because the owner would not allow us to keep the boat at the slip for anymore then 3 weeks, even though it was paid up until may.Also the owner knew nothing about the engine yet he told us he would not recommend motoring the boat to our mooring, that sounded fishy.

I have recently come across a 26 Westerly Centaur, with a 2008 Volvo penta diesel. The boat just needs a good clean and cosmetic work. The boat is for sale at £2,500...however the keel might need to be re-bedded

The owner has stated that the keel bolts have slight sign of water seepage around the bolts, and a tightening of the bolts/ new sealant might be enough to fix the issue for some time.

1. How does one tighten the bolts? Crane required?

2. If the keel needed to be re-bedded how much would it cost (In the UK)
