Conch Charters

We are looking at placing our 2007 42 ft owners version lagoon in the Conch Charters program for a couple of years, does anyone have any experience dealing with Conch charters? If so, can you tell us your experience, were they easy to do business with, were they honorable, did the expectations of how often the boat would be out in charter realistic to what ended up occuring?

We are trying to offset the costs of the boat for 2-3 years, any advise would be helpful.

If anyone has any other charter ideas that we could research that advise would be helpful also.

Not saying anything bad about Conch.

Might also look at BVI Yacht Charters. Similar companies, and BVI YC does have a great reputation. We've always thought they took good care of the boats we've chartered.

On the other side of the charter, I've chartered from Conch and was pleased. The couple we shared the charter with were repeat customers, and another couple we're friends with have chartered with Conch more than once.

Boat was an ex-Moorings cat and was decently cared for.
