Bronze once polished will return to it's oxidized look in a matter of weeks, like the above post, learn to love the natural look of the metal.

Most of our exterior hardware is Bronze, which we leave alone for the most part. In MHO bronze is far superior to stainless, and easier on dock lines. Below decks we have mostly brass, which we keep highly polished. If we go over it every couple of months with Brasso it stays near perfect.
