Cleaning Fabric Headliner

Can anyone recommend a good cleaner or cleaning method to clean the fabric headliner in our boat? I think the fabric may just be glued onto the "wall" so.. I don't want to dissolve the glue. But, it definitely needs to be cleaned. It has stains and what I assume is mold on it.
