Cat ketch

I am looking at a Herreshoff 33' cat/ketch. I've never sailed a cat boat. Can anyone comment on its sailing characteristics?

They are very easy to sail, tacking and gybing involve turning the wheel. Speed is very good on a reach or a run. Upwind is not as fast as an equivalent sloop, but a lot less tiring if a tack is involved. I have a Herreshoff 45 cat ketch and have found it to be a great cruising boat. Let me know if you decide to purchase or if you have any specific questions.
Regards, Carl
