Re: Can't comit to name...

Wind Dragon.
But neither very much - Monsieur du Nord is icky, and Wind Dragon common and very 1970s. Keep trying, and if it is for your H-28, try harder as neither are suitable. Also keep it shorter, because on an H-28 with an outboard rudder the name has to go on one side of the rudder, and the home port the other. Good Luck with your efforts!

Don't paint it on - use vinyl lettering.

Your original idea would have required either very small letters or a much larger transom.

Re: Can't comit to name...

I always figured that the name should descibe the boat, or what you want the boat to be.

Freedom, or 5 o'clock somewhere, or Clear Water, or Serenity, or such.

Good luck with the nameing, I know I'm a bit doomed on that. My wife will do any naming, and I won't get a choice in the matter. Just get told what to paint.
