how about (Waran) it means wory or whatcher...in north america we call them monitor lizards, witch means the same to monitor be on guard...in Africa monitors are loved by locals as they warn of the presence of crocodiles...monitors stand erect (on back legs) they sens the air with tong and know when a storm is coming, they dart to the nearest shelter.

That is how they got named, they monitor for any danger.

so I guess WARAN is good, and my logo can be a port light?

Why don't you take two options, stencil them temporarily on the yacht and then set sail. You drag the girlfriend about 50 meters behind the yacht and ask her which name is more visible. Naturally this experiment would need to be repeated in different conditions, ie night time, rough weather etc.

My guess is she'll pretty soon agree to whatever name you chose.

Haha, pretty soon you can chose whatever you want 'cause you are all alone!

Hmmm. In my case I'm already single and I don't own a boat yet. I would have to drag my son behind the car. That might be frowned upon by the authorities though. My car also doesn't have a name for him to read.
