Canary Islands sailing:improve your skills

Fortunate Islands are well known among blue water sailors. Conditions are usually handy, but be aware on the leeward side. A force 5-6 can suddenly raise to force 9-10, and it is not just a gust. Many crews can say they found here the worst conditions in their round the world voyage. Also, VOR ( volvo ocean race) boats come here to train and develop the required skills to go trhough the roaring forties.
