BVI Destinations

Am going to the BVI for a week of bareboating in March and have the list of recommended destinations from the charter company but am wondering what some of the destinations of more seasoned cruisers might be. Thanks

Re: BVI Destinations

We really enjoy Cane Garden Bay, Great Harbor and White Bay, but the last couple of trips we anchored at Leverick and used the dinghy to do a pub crawl to visit all the great bars in the Leverick and North Sound area. Don't miss the Fat Virgin and I think Saba Rock still has an afternoon happy hour with 1/2 price appetizers. Leverick has a lot to offer, too. Lot of fun buzzing around in the dingy and not moving the boat for a couple of nights. Check the BVI forum on traveltalkonline. com. Great resource.

We've always enjoyed Anegada and Long Bay on Jost Van Dyke. For a lunch stop over, Monkey Point is my favorite, but you have to get there early. If you want a day in a marina Scrub Island is great, I usually have work to do and a stop there is great, free wifi and I can take my laptop and work by their pool.
