BVI broker recommendation

This is just to share the excellent experience i had selling my boat through BVI Yacht Sales. Todd Duff did a great job as a broker and Karen Simpson a stellar job in handling a closing that involved many countries.

They will not take a listing at a price that a boat cannot be sold but once they take a listing they work on it. Buyer got a great deal but I have no problem with that.

I would not hesitate to my next boat through BVI Yacht Sales.

It's good to occasionally hear about success stories. Thanks for sharing.

Great to hear. Same owner as BVI Yacht Charters, right?

Nope. BVI Yacht Charters and BVI Yacht Sales are not related.

Re: BVI broker recommendation

As usual there are two sides to most brokers.
Five years ago I had a very bad experience with BVI yacht sales, (Brian Duff, Todd’s son), when I tried to buy a schooner from him. It’s an interesting, but long story of jiggerypokery and duplicity. I vowed I would never deal with them again, or recommend anyone to them, and I eventually bought a similar boat from another broker.
Svlamorocha may well have had a nice experience, but as far as I’m concerned I suggest anyone else still remembers, “caveat emptor.
